Come to our Playdays

We welcome guests as well as our members to our Playdays. Please join us.

They are an opportunity to work on interesting repertoire that you may not see elsewhere.

Coming up, we have...

Saturday February 8th 2020 - Playday: 1pm - 6pm

We've lined up a varied, challenging, programme of music from across the history of clarinet choir writing.

We'll play a mix of styles of music from modern classical to latin and jazz, and the programme will include Scaramouche by Mihaud (arranged by Angela Fussell), and Looping the Loop by Martin Ellerby.

clarinet playday

We will be conducted by Oliver Till and regular ICC conductor Ian Rogers.

Ian says about Ollie:

"Ollie has previously conducted one of our sax playdays, and I'm delighted he has agreed to join us again for this clarinet day.

His studies have included the University of Manchester, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Jarvi Academy, Estonia. He has conducted both premieres of new works and period instrument performances, and for groups including St Paul's Opera, Asyla Ensemble and the London Sinfonietta Academy."
